Ethan Long is a safety for Notre Dame who enrolled as a three-star recruit ranked 518th nationally in the 2025 class. The 6'2", 204-pound native of Milford, Connecticut appeared in four games during his 2025 freshman campaign. Long recorded three total tackles, including two solo stops, and intercepted one pass, which came in the third quarter against Syracuse on November 22. He made his collegiate debut on defense in the Navy game on November 8 and also saw special teams action against Stanford on November 29. Long returns to the Irish for the 2026 season as a redshirt freshman.
