Elijah Burress is a 6'1", 190-pound wide receiver from Totowa, New Jersey, who attended DePaul Catholic High School. A four-star recruit in the 2025 class, Burress was ranked 231st overall by recruiting services and earned honors at the 2025 Polynesian Bowl. As a high school senior, he recorded 37 receptions for 960 yards and 15 touchdowns. He made his collegiate debut for Notre Dame against Purdue on September 20, 2025, and appeared in four games during his freshman season. In the season finale at Stanford on November 29, Burress posted career highs of three receptions for 21 yards, including a 12-yard reception in the third quarter that resulted in a first down.
