Cam Herron is a center from Indianapolis, Indiana who attends Warren Central High School. A four-star recruit in the 2025 class, he was ranked 322nd overall with a rating of 0.9023. As a true freshman in 2025, Herron appeared in three games for Notre Dame. He made his collegiate debut against Navy on November 9, a game in which the Irish totaled 249 rushing yards and allowed no sacks. He saw action against Syracuse on November 22, when Notre Dame rushed for a season-high 329 yards. Herron also competed in the Stanford victory on November 29, participating in a game where the Irish ground attack produced over 200 yards without allowing a sack.
