Bryce Young is a 6'6", 260-pound left defensive end for Notre Dame who was a consensus four-star recruit from Charlotte Christian High School in Charlotte, NC. As a freshman in 2024, he appeared in all 16 games and recorded 23 tackles while leading all freshmen in blocked kicks with three. In his sophomore campaign (2025), Young played in 12 games with one start, accumulating 20 tackles (10 solo), 2.0 sacks, 2.0 tackles for loss, three pass breakups, and four quarterback hurries. His first career start came against Miami, where he logged three assisted tackles and a hurry. Young returns as a junior for the 2026 season.
