Armel Mukam is a 6'3", 296-pound defensive tackle for Notre Dame from La Prairie, Quebec, Canada, who attended Woodberry Forest School. A consensus three-star recruit in the 2023 class, he made his collegiate debut against Wake Forest in 2023, recording two tackles. As a freshman in 2024, Mukam appeared in 11 games and compiled four total tackles. In 2025, his sophomore season, he played in all 12 games with five tackles, including two solo, and 1.5 tackles for loss while forcing a fumble against Pitt. Mukam, now a redshirt junior, continues as a returning member of the Irish roster.
