Trey Boyd is an offensive lineman from Shakopee, Minnesota, where he attended Shakopee High School. A three-star recruit ranked No. 6 in Minnesota, Boyd earned First Team All-State honors following his senior season in 2024 and was named to the Minnesota Star Tribune's Minnesota Dream Team ahead of that year. As a senior, he played on an offensive line that averaged 330 rushing yards per game and helped lead Shakopee to the state semifinals for the first time in program history. Boyd committed to Northwestern on May 13, 2024, choosing the Wildcats over Iowa State, Kansas, and Minnesota. He is currently a true freshman with the Northwestern Wildcats and has not appeared in game action during the 2025 season.
