Qayvier Johnson is a 6'3", 225-pound linebacker for the Northwestern Wildcats. A native of New Haven, Connecticut, Johnson attended Hamden Hall Country Day School, where he was a three-sport athlete in football, basketball, and baseball. As a senior, he recorded 81 tackles, seven sacks, and one interception. During his junior year, he tallied 60 tackles, 15 sacks, and one interception. Johnson earned All-NEPSAC and All-Evergreen team honors twice and was rated a three-star prospect by recruiting services. He chose Northwestern over Indiana, Yale, and Harvard. Johnson did not see game action during his first year in 2024.
