Mason Mayne is a redshirt freshman defensive lineman for Northwestern. The 6'3", 265-pound lineman from Lawton, Michigan appeared in four games during the 2025 season, recording two total tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss. He made his collegiate debut against Western Illinois on September 5 and posted one tackle with 0.5 tackles for loss in the October 4 contest versus ULM. At Lawton High School, Mayne earned First-Team All-State honors as a junior despite playing in six games due to injury, and was twice selected to the Kalamazoo Area Dream Team. He committed to Northwestern in May 2024.
