Jamaal Johnson is a 6'2", 240-pound right defensive end from Miami, Florida, who played at Chaminade-Madonna Prep before joining UCF. At the high school level, Johnson made nine tackles in the 2021 Florida 3A championship game victory and recorded 74 tackles and 19 sacks as a senior that year. He appeared in five games during his first year at UCF in 2022, tallying four tackles. In 2024, his redshirt sophomore season, Johnson appeared in nine games, accumulating nine tackles, six solo, two tackles for loss for 12 yards, and his first career sack for ten yards. During the 2025 redshirt junior campaign, Johnson played in all 12 games, posting career-high 24 tackles including 11 solo, 1.5 tackles for loss, and a season-high five tackles against Houston. Johnson now transfers to Northwestern.
