Jack Trautmann is a 6'3", 255-pound defensive lineman from Elmhurst, Illinois, who attended York Community High School. As a senior, he recorded 41 tackles, 20.0 tackles for loss, and 12 sacks while earning First Team All-State honors. Trautmann chose to join Northwestern as a preferred walk-on rather than accept scholarship offers from Dayton and San Diego. He redshirted during his true freshman year in 2024. As a redshirt sophomore in 2025, Trautmann appeared in five games, making his collegiate debut against Western Illinois on September 5 and recording one tackle in the GameAbove Sports Bowl against Central Michigan on December 26.
