Cam Thompson is a wide receiver for Northern Illinois who transferred from Mississippi State before the 2023 season. In his first year with the Huskies, Thompson appeared in the final eight games and recorded two catches for 10 yards, including a four-yard reception against Ball State and a six-yard reception at Kent State. He also contributed on special teams. Thompson, who stands 6'0" and weighs 200 pounds, hails from Boardman, Ohio, where he played both wide receiver and safety in high school. He returns for his redshirt senior season in 2026.
