Tayven Jackson is a quarterback who transfers to North Texas after four collegiate seasons across three programs. He began his career at Tennessee in 2022, then spent two years at Indiana (2023–2024) before joining UCF for the 2025 season. Across 27 games with 16 starts, Jackson has completed 304 of 484 passes (62.8%) for 3,451 yards, 16 touchdowns and 14 interceptions, while adding 147 rushing yards and 8 rushing touchdowns. In 2025 with the Knights, he appeared in 11 games with 10 starts, passing for 2,151 yards and 10 touchdowns while rushing for 85 yards and three scores.
