Steven Curtis is a 6'5", 264-pound defensive line end from Palm Beach, Florida, who attended Dwyer High School before playing at Illinois State from 2023 to 2024 under current UNT defensive line coach Ben Black. Over two seasons with the Redbirds, Curtis appeared in 24 games with one start, recording 50 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, four sacks, and two forced fumbles. In 2024, he saw action in 14 games with one start and posted 46 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, four sacks, and two forced fumbles. Curtis spent the 2025 season at Minnesota, where he preserved a redshirt without appearing in games. He joins North Texas as a transfer.
