Keon Johnson is a left guard from Akron, Ohio, who prepped at Archbishop Hoban High School. As a senior, he helped block for an offense that accumulated nearly 4,000 total rushing yards and 58 touchdowns while his team reached back-to-back state championship game appearances in 2021 and 2022. Johnson redshirted during his 2023 season at North Texas. He appeared in 12 games on special teams in 2024, then played in 13 games primarily on special teams in 2025 while the Mean Green posted the nation's top scoring offense and led the country with 45 rushing touchdowns. Johnson was selected as a Go Bowling Military Bowl STEM Scholar-Athlete.
