Baron Tipton is a 6'5" wide receiver from Coppell, Texas, where he earned District 6-6A Offensive Player of the Year honors and posted 1,104 receiving yards with 16 touchdowns during his senior season. A three-star recruit in the 2024 class, Tipton redshirted as a true freshman in 2024, appearing in three games and recording an eight-yard reception against Tulsa. In 2025, he appeared in all 14 games primarily on special teams, catching two passes for 12 yards against Lamar in the season opener and executing a fair catch on an onside kick attempt versus Navy. Tipton currently holds a redshirt sophomore status for North Texas.
