AJ Brown is a defensive tackle for North Texas at 6'3" and 295 pounds. The Dallas native prepped at Duncanville HS, where he earned 11-6A Second Team All-District honors as a junior and helped lead the Panthers to back-to-back 6A State Championships in his sophomore and junior years. As a senior, he totaled 28 tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks. Rated a three-star prospect by recruiting services and ranked No. 182 among defensive linemen nationally, Brown made his college debut in the 2025 season opener against Lamar. He appeared in six games that year while preserving a redshirt, recording one solo tackle in the American Conference Championship game at Tulane.
