Taylen Eady is a 6'0", 205-pound safety from Toano, Virginia, who redshirted in 2024 before appearing in all 13 games during his freshman season in 2025. He started three contests late in the year against Youngstown State, North Dakota, and Northern Iowa. Eady recorded 24 total tackles and 1.0 tackle for loss while earning Phil Steele FCS Freshman All-America Fourth Team honors. He intercepted three passes—his first coming against Northern Iowa, then one each against St. Thomas and Illinois State—and added a forced fumble and fumble recovery.
