Drew Klein is a placekicker for North Dakota State who hails from Hortonville, Wisconsin. He redshirted in 2022 before appearing in four games during his freshman season in 2023, averaging 59.6 yards on kickoffs with two touchbacks on 13 attempts. Klein did not play in 2024 but returned to action in 2025, appearing in contests against The Citadel, Tennessee State, Northern Iowa, and St. Thomas. During the 2025 season, he made his first career field goal from 46 yards against St. Thomas and converted all three of his PAT attempts. Klein has earned multiple MVFC Honor Roll selections and received the 2024 MVFC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award.
