DJ Scott is a running back from Oviedo, Florida who transferred to North Dakota State from Kennesaw State University. After redshirting in 2023 and appearing in all 12 games for the Owls in 2024, Scott joined the Bison for the 2025 season. In his first year at NDSU, he played in all 13 games and was selected to the Missouri Valley Football Conference All-Newcomer Team. Scott rushed for 502 yards and six touchdowns on 95 carries, adding four receptions for 44 yards with a long of 19 yards. He recorded a career-high 101 yards on eight attempts against St. Thomas and scored touchdowns in three consecutive October games.
