Xavier Jackson is a right cornerback for the North Carolina Tar Heels. The true freshman from Willingboro, New Jersey, attended Bergen Catholic, where he played for coach Vito Campanile. Jackson spent his first two high school seasons at Burlington Township before transferring to Bergen Catholic for his junior and senior years. In his initial season there, he won a state championship and earned all-conference honors. As a senior, Jackson recorded 42 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, four pass breakups, and an interception while helping Bergen Catholic reach the NJSIAA Playoff semifinals.
