J.B. Shabazz is a true freshman offensive lineman from Winston-Salem, N.C., who plays left tackle for the North Carolina Tar Heels. He attended Oak Grove High School, where he earned All-Conference honors as a lineman and helped the team reach the third round of the NCHSAA 5A playoffs. Shabazz also competed in basketball and received All-Conference recognition in that sport. Standing 6'5" and weighing 333 pounds, he was a four-star recruit ranked 369th overall in the 2026 class.
