Nick Wheeler is a safety for the New Mexico Lobos standing 6'0" and weighing 208 pounds. The Dallas, Texas native attended Parish Episcopal High School, where he recorded 128 tackles, two interceptions, and 11 pass breakups as a senior. He added three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and two blocked kicks while earning First Team All-State and First Team All-District honors. Wheeler also played running back, accumulating 17 touchdowns with a 6.4-yard average per carry and helping Parish Episcopal to a 9-5 record through four playoff rounds.
