Joey Olsen is a 6'5", 246-pound tight end from Lake Oswego, Oregon, who attended Lakeridge High School. At Lakeridge, he set career records with 119 receptions and 2,303 yards, earning 6A First Team All-State honors as a senior with 32 catches for 578 yards and nine touchdowns. Olsen committed to USC as a four-star recruit rated No. 13 at his position nationally by national outlets. He played in one game against Minnesota during his freshman season in 2024 and appeared in one contest against Georgia Southern in 2025 while earning a redshirt.
