Colin McBean is a free safety for the New Mexico Lobos from Long Beach, California. He attended Gardena Serra High School, where he earned Mission League MVP honors and First Team All-Mission League accolades as a senior with 82 tackles and 10 pass breakups. As a freshman in 2025, McBean started all 12 games he appeared in, becoming the only true freshman to start on defense.
