Tanner Vaughan is a sixth-year defensive lineman for Nevada standing 6'3" and weighing 270 pounds. A Las Vegas native who attended Palo Verde High School, Vaughan began his college career at the University of Mary, where he appeared in 10 games as a freshman in 2021 and recorded 22 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and 3.0 tackles-for-loss. He transferred to Nevada and appeared in three games during the 2023 season. In 2024, Vaughan played in all 13 games with one start against Colorado State, finishing with seven tackles and a pass breakup. During the 2025 season, he appeared in all 12 games, accumulating 14 tackles, one tackle-for-loss, and one pass defensed.
