Tanner Gray is a freshman edge rusher for Nevada standing 6'2" and weighing 240 pounds. A three-star recruit from Wellington, Colorado, Gray played both defensive end and quarterback at Wellington High School under head coach Travis Peeples. During his senior season, he led Wellington to a 13-0 record and 2A state championship, earning Most Outstanding Player honors in the title game. Over his high school varsity career, Gray accumulated 2,315 passing yards and 33 touchdowns while adding 3,123 rushing yards and 53 touchdowns. Defensively, he recorded 170 tackles, 15 sacks, and 48 tackles-for-loss. Gray also qualified twice for the state wrestling tournament.
