Jose Balver-Mendoza is an offensive lineman for Nevada standing 6'5" and weighing 287 pounds. The redshirt sophomore from Athens, Georgia, attended Cedar Shoals High School, where his offensive line helped generate 269 all-purpose yards per game and nearly 1,000 rushing yards during his senior season. Balver-Mendoza began his college career at Kennesaw State, where he played on an offensive line that ranked second in C-USA in sacks allowed with 18 and facilitated 1,375 rushing yards. He transferred to Montana and appeared in four games in 2025 before joining the Wolf Pack.
