Jack MacKinnon is an EDGE rusher for the Nevada Wolf Pack standing 6'4" and weighing 239 pounds. The Sarasota, Florida native attended Cardinal Mooney High School, where he compiled 58 tackles, 26 tackles for loss, and 13 sacks during his senior season in 2022, earning FHSAA second-team All-State honors. MacKinnon spent his first two seasons at Michigan, redshirting in 2023 and appearing in one game with one tackle in 2024. He shared Scout Team Defensive Player of the Week in 2024 for his preparation work against Arkansas State. Now a redshirt junior, MacKinnon suffered a season-ending injury prior to the 2025 season and did not see action, though he earned Nevada's Community Service Award.
