Cody Wells is a linebacker for the Nevada Wolf Pack standing 6'2" and weighing 210 pounds. A three-star recruit from Scottsdale, Arizona, Wells attended Notre Dame Preparatory, where he played as a two-way athlete under head coach George Prelock. During his junior season, he recorded 83 tackles and 7.5 tackles-for-loss. Over his sophomore and junior seasons combined, Wells caught 46 passes for 431 yards and four touchdowns. He redshirted during the 2025 season after making one appearance, including his collegiate debut against San Diego State on October 11. Wells returns as a redshirt freshman in 2026.
