Nyziah Hunter is a 6'1", 205-pound wide receiver from Salinas, California who transferred to Nebraska from the University of California. He redshirted during his first year at Cal in 2023, then appeared in 12 games with eight starts in 2024, recording 40 receptions for 578 yards and five touchdowns. In 2025, Hunter started all 12 regular-season games for the Cornhuskers, catching 43 passes for 617 yards and five touchdowns while leading Nebraska in receiving yards and touchdowns. His season included a career-high 125 receiving yards against Maryland and a 64-yard touchdown reception, the longest of his career. Hunter became the first Husker since Wan'Dale Robinson in 2020 to record at least five receptions in four consecutive games.
