Maurice Purify II is a 6'4", 185-pound wide receiver from Omaha, Nebraska, who joined the Cornhuskers as a true freshman in 2026. At Omaha Westside High School, he recorded 41 receptions for 589 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior, adding 242 kickoff return yards and earning honorable-mention all-state honors. As a junior, he caught 22 passes for 298 yards and two scores. A consensus three-star recruit ranked among the nation's top 200 receivers, Purify also competed in track and field, finishing second in the Class A long jump as a junior.
