Kyson Gana is a true freshman long snapper for Nebraska from Hickman, Nebraska. At Norris High School, he competed in football, basketball, and baseball. On offense, Gana caught 17 passes for 461 yards and five touchdowns over his final two seasons, averaging 37.0 yards per reception as a senior with nine receptions for 333 yards and five touchdowns. Defensively, he recorded 68 career tackles from cornerback with six interceptions, including three as both a junior and senior. Kohl's Kicking ranked him a 4.5-star recruit and listed him among the top 25 long snappers nationally. Gana stands 6'1" and weighs 170 pounds, and is majoring in construction management.
