Jamal Rule is a true freshman running back for Nebraska from Salisbury, North Carolina. At Charlotte Christian School, Rule accumulated over 2,500 rushing yards across his final two seasons while averaging more than 160 yards per game. During his senior year, he posted 1,362 rushing yards on 173 carries with 16 touchdowns, plus 25 receptions for 327 yards and one touchdown. Rule's junior campaign saw him rush for 1,236 yards in seven games, averaging 176.6 yards per outing, with 15 rushing touchdowns and 12 catches for 121 yards and a score. A three-star recruit rated as the No. 34 running back prospect nationally, Rule joined the Cornhuskers as a member of the 2026 class.
