Anthony Jones Jr. is a 6'5", 265-pound right defensive end from Las Vegas, Nevada who attended Liberty High School. He played college football at four institutions before joining Nebraska as a transfer: Oregon (2022), Indiana (2023), Michigan State (2024), and UCLA (2025). Across 37 games with 14 starts at his previous schools, Jones compiled 58 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and one pass breakup. At UCLA in 2025, he appeared in 11 games with 10 starts, recording 20 tackles, four quarterback hurries, 1.5 sacks, 2.5 tackles for loss and one pass breakup. Jones was named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in Spring 2026.
