Toran Smith is a junior center for Navy, standing 6'2" and weighing 277 pounds. A 2024 graduate of Deer Creek High School in Edmond, Oklahoma, Smith made his collegiate debut in the Midshipmen's opener against VMI in 2025. He appeared in 9 games that season, starting in 3 of them, including Navy's American opener victory over UAB. Smith recorded his first collegiate tackle in the Rice game, combining with Brandon Chatman to bring down interceptor Plae Wyatt. He played for an offensive unit that facilitated Blake Horvath's 469 yards of total offense against Air Force.
