Zach Owens is a 6'6", 340-pound left guard from McDonough, Georgia, where he attended Eagle's Landing High School as a 4-star prospect. He began his college career at Clemson in 2023, appearing in two games for 13 offensive snaps before redshirting. Owens transferred to Colorado in 2024, playing in 10 games primarily on special teams with 11 offensive snaps. He spent the 2025 season at Mississippi State, appearing in all 13 games with 10 starts at both guard positions. Against Southern Miss on August 30, he made his first career start at right guard, followed by his first left guard start at Arkansas on November 1, recording 87 snaps in the opener. Owens logged a 56.2 combined blocking grade and allowed one sack, three QB hits, six hurries, and 10 pressures with three penalties in 2025 before joining Missouri as a transfer.
