Khalief Canty Jr. is a 6'4", 311-pound right guard from Detroit, Michigan, who played at Cass Technical High School under head coach Marvin Rushing. A three-star recruit ranked 722 nationally, he received scholarship offers from multiple Power Four programs including Michigan, Michigan State, Alabama, Auburn, North Carolina, and Penn State before committing to Missouri. As a junior in 2024, he earned All-State recognition. In 2025, Canty was named to the MHSFCA Division 1, Region 3 all-district team and helped Cass Tech finish runner-up in the Michigan Division 1 State Championship with a 13-1 record. He enrolled at Missouri as a true freshman in 2026.
