JJ Bush is a linebacker from Mobile, Alabama, who attended Theodore High School under coach Eric Collier. A consensus four-star prospect in the 2026 class, Bush was ranked 375th nationally and 21st at his position by recruiting services. As a junior in 2024, he recorded 69 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, and six sacks while also rushing for 344 yards and six touchdowns. Bush was selected to the Navy All-American Bowl and helped lead Theodore to the second round of the Alabama 6A Playoffs. He chose to play for Missouri over Arkansas, Miami, and LSU.
