Jayden McGregory is a true freshman safety at Missouri from West Des Moines, Iowa, where he attended Valley High School. He was recruited as a four-star prospect and ranked No. 385 overall in the 2026 class. As a senior, McGregory logged 15.5 tackles including 10 solo attempts, one tackle for loss, and one interception while helping Valley reach the Iowa Class 5A state semifinals. On offense, he led the team with 56 receptions for 765 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also returned three kicks for 121 yards at a 40.3 average. McGregory chose Missouri over Georgia, Nebraska, Minnesota, and Louisville.
