Jaxson Gates is a true freshman cornerback at Missouri standing 6'0" and weighing 169 pounds. The Fontana, California native from Damien High School received four-star recruiting accolades, ranking 298th nationally in the 247Composite and 34th among cornerbacks. As a senior, he recorded 31 tackles across nine games with an interception and a pass breakup, while posting 30 tackles and six pass breakups as a junior. Gates competed in track and field, running a 10.44 100-meter dash, 22.79 200-meter, and 54.41 400-meter time.
