Makhete Gueye is a 6'6", 310-pound left tackle for Missouri State. Originally from Bradenton, Florida, Gueye played high school football at Venice High, where he appeared in his senior year at defensive line and tight end before moving to offensive tackle. He allowed no sacks during his final season as the Indians posted a 13-1 record and won the Florida 8A state championship with a 35-7 victory over Apopka in 2021. Gueye redshirted at Louisville in 2022 and did not play in games during 2023 or 2024. In 2025, his first season with Missouri State, he appeared in 11 games with 92 snaps, including three offensive line appearances and regular special teams duty. He made his Bears debut in the road win at Marshall on 9/6/25, the program's first-ever FBS victory, and also played in the Xbox Bowl against Arkansas State on 12/18/25.
