Josh Joyner is a running back from Oxnard, California, who transferred to Missouri State after one season at Washington State. At Pacifica High School, he was a four-year starter and all-state selection, recording 782 rushing yards and 9 touchdowns on 106 carries as a senior, along with 25 receptions for 275 yards and 5 touchdowns. As a junior, he compiled 933 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns on 111 carries with 29 catches for 440 yards and 4 touchdowns. Joyner played in one game for Washington State in 2024, carrying twice for 10 yards against No. 21 Syracuse in the Holiday Bowl.
