Josh Deal is a kicker for the Missouri State Bears. A first-team all-state selection from Francis Howell High School in O'Fallon, Missouri, Deal led the Vikings to a 14-0 record and Class 5 state championship in 2022, scoring 117 points as a senior with 93 extra points and a long field goal of 41 yards. He redshirted in 2023 after appearing in one game with a 48-yard kickoff against Utah Tech. Deal did not see action during his second collegiate season in 2024 but earned special teams scout player of the week recognition for road contests. He has not played in games during the 2025 FBS inaugural season while earning Conference USA Honor Roll distinction and Missouri State Athletic Director's Honor Roll accolades.
