At Cardinal Hayes High School, he completed 382-of-627 passes for 55 touchdowns and rushed 90 times for 593 yards with 13 scores, posting a 17-11 record as a starter and earning NYCHSFL AAA Championship MVP honors in 2019. In 2022, he appeared in one game with 43 passing yards. The following year, he started against N.C.
