After appearing in three games as a true freshman at Colorado in 2022, Dixson transferred to Missouri State and played in four games during his 2023 debut season. He appeared in all 12 games in 2024, recording 21 total tackles, 7 solos, 3 pass breakups, and an interception. In 2025, Dixson played all 13 games with 7 starts, accumulating 50 total tackles, 35 solos, 4 tackles for loss, 3 pass deflections, and 1 interception for 10 yards, earning multiple "Grinder" awards from the coaching staff.
