Amare Whetsell is a 6'0", 180-pound wide receiver from Pembroke Pines, Florida, who redshirted during the 2025 season at Missouri State. At Monsignor Pace High in Miami, Whetsell was a two-time All-Dade County receiver who finished his prep career with 92 receptions for 1,280 yards. As a senior in 2024, he caught 40 passes for 670 yards and 5 touchdowns while averaging 16.8 yards per catch, leading the Spartans to an 8-3 record and district title. Whetsell posted a 4.47 40-yard dash time and was named to Missouri State's Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the Spring 2026 semester.
