Kyle Ferrie, a 6'1" placekicker from Searcy, Arkansas, prepped at Harding Academy where he scored 313 points and made 37 field goals. He appeared in all 12 games as a true freshman in 2023, converting 16 of 22 field goals and going 27-for-27 on PATs. In 2024, his sophomore season, Ferrie made 10 of 12 field goal attempts and 38 of 39 PATs across 12 games. During his 2025 junior campaign, he played in all 13 games, making 17 of 20 field goals with a long of 55 yards against Southern Miss on August 30, breaking a 40-year program record. He made all 44 PATs and set a single-season program record with 44 consecutive made extra points. Ferrie became Mississippi State's all-time leading scorer among kickers with 238 career points.
