The 6'7", 330-pound prospect from Memphis, Tennessee, prepped at Germantown High School before initially committing to the Bulldogs on June 12, 2023, as part of the 2024 signing class. Rated a 3-star by recruiting services, Shepard attended junior college, playing at Trinity Valley CC in 2024 and transferring to East Mississippi CC for 2025, where recruiting services ranked him the 15th best offensive tackle in JUCO.
