Tom Weston, a 6'3" punter from Perth, Australia, joined Minnesota in June 2025 as a transfer from Ouachita Baptist University. He spent two seasons at Ouachita Baptist, including a redshirt year in 2023, before becoming the Golden Gophers' primary punter in 2025. That season, Weston averaged 42.6 yards on 65 punts, placing 23 inside the 20-yard line and recording a long of 59 yards. He earned All-Big Ten Third Team honors from media and All-Big Ten Honorable Mention from coaches in 2025. Weston also served as holder on 54 attempts, including 33 PATs and 21 field goals.
