Nathan Roy is a left tackle for the Minnesota Golden Gophers who hails from Mukwonago, Wisconsin. A consensus four-star recruit in the 2024 class, Roy redshirted in 2024 after appearing in two games. During his 2025 freshman season, he started all 13 games, including 12 at left tackle and one at right tackle, providing protection for an offense that rushed for 1,572 yards and 15 touchdowns while passing for 2,469 yards and 19 touchdowns. Roy earned FWAA Freshman All-American honors and blocked for quarterback Drake Lindsey, who recorded eight wins as a freshman. The redshirt sophomore returns to the roster for the 2026 season.
